Cute FTP Professional 8 is a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client for Windows.
The program enables you to connect and transfer files using SFTP (Secure Shell/SSH), FTPS (Secure Socket Layer (SSL) over FTP) and one-time passwords. You can transfer files using multipart transfer and simultaneous connections. You can manage and maintain your Web site with the built-in HTML editor, as well as using features like the Folder Synchronization, Folder Monitor, Site Backup, and Compression tools. Cute FTP Professional 8 also lets you schedule, automate, and prioritize transfers building a transfer queue.
When you first use the program, the Connection Wizard will appear, allowing you to enter the information necessary to connect to your FTP Server (Host Address, Site Name, User Name, Password and Login Method). Then the program will establish a connection to that FTP Server.
You can then upload or download your files using an interface similar to the one in Windows Explorer. While doing so, a Queue Windows will appear at the bottom of the screen, showing you the status of each file or folder. |
