When you have a multitude of files to manage, especially those you need to upload and download to and from the Internet, you need a powerful, fast and efficient client program for transferring them - and CuteFTP Professional can be just what you're looking for. Importantly, when transferring business files, you need security and CuteFTP Professional uses the same technology used by web browsers and servers, with secure 128-bit SSL for data confidentiality, message integrity, and authentication. You can set up your SSL session choices when you set up your SSL connection as the program provides you with three SSL options including TLS (AUTH TLS), SSL Implicit and SSL Explicit modes. GlobalSCAPE's Secure FTP Server supports all three of these and most FTP servers support at least one. The program also supports a full certificate managing system enabling you to accept or reject a server's SSL Certificate.
Additionally, you can schedule transfer of files for a later date, at regular intervals, and choose events once a transfer takes place. The program also features FXP, which allows to transfer files from one remote server to another, a feature unavailable with the Home edition of CuteFTP. Other features available only in the professional edition include Folder Monitoring, Synchronization, and Site Backup where you can automatically archive a back up of your entire FTP server on a recurring basis. |
